We are excited that work has begun on-site for the first of the two concrete villas in the hills surrounding Lake Como in northern Italy.

The first few weeks have seen the existing concrete skeletons clean and all the necessary mechanical works nearly complete. Everything moves towards the next phase, where a domestic, warm feeling will be created by the insets of the new material palette. Variations of oak timber, marble and brass in the ceilings, walls and the delicately detailed joinery will balance the roughness of concrete.

We look forward to seeing this project completed later this April.
