MALIN+GOETZ Seven Dials

We worked with New York-based apothecary brand MALIN+GOETZ on the design of their three London-based shops. Founded on a belief and specialism in adaptive re-use which in its self describes a sustainable approach to design, the philosophy manifested in our work through the retrofit of this historical store front in Covent Garden.

The shop on Monmouth Street features a single large vitrine-like window acting as a threshold between the cinematic interior and this busy London shopping street. A felt-lined ‘tunnel’ acts as a ‘cleansing’ space between outside and in and, within the shop, the display shelves hover off the illuminated walls and are reflected in a reflective fabric ceiling, expanding the space outwards and upwards.
